At first I thought that maybe it was the same game only because of the guy with the fro in the left corner of each photo. But now looking it over closely, the guy must have been at both games?

I'd be willing to bet that both photos were taken in the same game. That crowd matches up. Look at the thing (Coat? banner?) just to the right of both pitchers plant leg. They both pitched in Wrigley in the first game of a doubleheader on September 25 of 1979.

Chris, it's just way too much of a coincidence to have the Afro guy wearing the same clothes on consecutive days and whatever that thing on the wall, well that's what clinches it for me. Donruss probably just bought whatever photos they could find so having some from 1979 isn't surprising.
